Delete your Sous account

Sous is a cooking app made by Leetdreet. A Sous account is optional. If you created one, you can delete it at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open Sous and tap Sous account. Sign in if you are not signed in.
2. Tap Delete my Sous account.
3. Tap Delete account permanently to confirm.

The account is deleted straight away.

By email, without the app

1. Send an email to sous@leetdreet.com with the subject "Delete my Sous account".
2. Send it from the email address your Sous account uses, so we know the request is yours.

We will delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your account record: your email address, your scrambled password, and your sign-in history.
• Anything else Sous keeps for your account on our servers. Today that is nothing more than the account record.

What is not affected

• Information kept only on your phone (the links you tried, your store choices, and sign-ins to other services). Removing the app from your phone removes these.
• Your accounts with other services, such as Instagram or Walmart. Sous has no control over those.

What may be kept for a time

Copies held in our hosting provider's backups, where they exist, are overwritten on that provider's schedule. If you asked by email, we keep that email as a record that we did it.
